Newport/Cocke County Museum

Cocke

?Established by William Cocke in 1976, this museum displays items donated by county residents on the hisory of Cocke County. It includes 3 room dispalys, a Victorian parlor, an early bedroom, and a Pioneer kitchen. The museum occupies the 3rd floor of the Community Center with elevator access. It is operated by volunteers and is open Wednesday 1 pm to 5 pm year round and Saturday 1 pm to 4 pm during the summer.
