Davy Crockett Golf Trail

Hamblen

While there is no historical evidence that Davy Crockett ever played golf in East Tennessee, the famous frontiersman did grow up here. Davy Crockett's father operated a tavern in Morristown in the late 1700s, and young Davy spent much of his childhood exploring the woods, mountains, and streams around his parents' home - the very same landscape that surrounds our golf courses. The Davy Crockett Golf Trail pays tribute to this legendary American hero, linking four of East Tennessee's premier golf courses.
